Finding beauty in all things, especially those that are used daily, is the basis of this series.

The objects represented; crayons, scissors, pita, tape, toothpicks, wire…are tools and materials that are used daily in the studio. As a mindful activity, it is important to constantly take note of the materials being used as much as it is of what is actually being made. The objects should not be taken for granted.

This series is an homage to these tools and materials as an end in and of themselves. To keep their simplicity and to represent them best, they are photocopied daily and the best images are turned into archival digital prints.
